Our History
We have been breathing the world of wooden furniture since we were born.
The world of wooden furniture is in our DNA. For five generations.
Over the years, we have savoured its beauty in its many shades, we have experimented, we have opened ourselves up to the extraordinary complexity and refinement of combining different types of wood with other materials. Marble, metal, leather and fabric. Oxymorons that, when balanced and mixed in the right way, can create pure poetry.
And so, for us, creating Emmemobili was the natural evolution of a journey of growth and awareness of what it meant for us to dream, design, create, sculpt, build...
Passion for the Material
We were born with wood. Loving its surface, sculpting it, creating volumes and geometries that would allow this material to vibrate its power.
We grew up appreciating the thousand nuances, the physical and aesthetic characteristics that made each essence and piece unique; we grew up learning the art of working it in different ways, always striving to improve, to figure out how we can shape it in ever new ways. This is what even led us to specialize in the wood-bending technique.
Product after product, project after project, we continued to experiment, moving into new areas and combining our wood with other materials.
Not just any materials, but ones chosen with care and with the same passion that has always driven us in our work with wood. We have selected marbles, metals, leathers, fabrics and other finishes with intense, expressive and striking textures and colours. We have worked to balance their spirit with the essence of our woods.
