A play on seemingly discordant lines, oxymorons of surfaces and volumes which, when brought together, create a perfectly balanced harmony. This is how Lofty was born, a storage unit that plays on the contrast between support and elevation. The body, rigorous and linear, is raised by two gracefully shaped side elements. These, with their softer contours, embrace it as if to protect it, framing it whilst supporting it firmly, defining a precise balance between mass and lightness. The result is a suspended form, essential yet expressive, in which solidity is lightened and gains momentum.
