Selene
Design by Ferruccio Laviani
In ancient Greek religion, Selene represented the full moon, the perfect circle whose phases shape life. The Selene family of tables was born from the union of circles and semicircles, a formal and expressive exploration that transcends the ordinariness of this object. The intersection of various geometric shapes creates combinations of finishes and materials that give the object a unique vibe, making it more like a sculpture than a simple table.
The circle was also used to define the base, which, eschewing the banality of four legs, is made with two corner elements, also enriched by the decoration that characterizes the top, thus giving substance to a unique object. A table with a strong character that can serve a variety of functions, ranging from a dining table to an executive desk.
